Richards was born in Penarth, Wales. She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. After performing in short films she was part of the S4C Welsh language magazine show Mosgito. She also made appearances in short films. Her roles were prominently played in BBC TV programs Crash and Being Human. Two years ago she was named executive secretary who had an exaggerated English accent in Breaking In. [3] She became an Breaking In regular on January of 2012. She co-starred as the part of Sharon in Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego's horror film Open Grave, alongside Sharlto Copley. She played Barbara Kean on the FOX Television series Gotham from 2014 to the year 2019. She was also director for "The Trial of Jim Gordon", the fifth season's episode, which began airing on 7 March 2019. [1][88 FOX reports that she's currently appearing in an unreleased independent movie, That Good Night with Max Brown and John Hurt. Also, she has been featured in The Quiet Ones and Open Grave as well as on the TV show Being Human in Britain. She is currently residing in New York, Los Angeles and London.
